North Yorkshire Police has issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to following an assault in Harrogate.

The incident involved two men and one suffered injuries to his face and head. He had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.

It happened on Station Parade at about 6.15am on Remembrance Sunday last year, which was November 12.

Police said in a statement enquiries to identify the suspect were "ongoing", adding:

"Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.
"Anyone with any information is asked to email jonathan.carass2@northyorkshire.police.uk or call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC193 Carass."
