Police release image after man ‘kicked out at a dog’ in Harrogate
North Yorkshire Police have now identified the man they wished to speak to in relation to a public order incident.
We have updated our coverage to conceal his identity.
The force said today the incident happened at Nidd Gorge woods on January 21, at around 1.50pm, adding:
“It was reported that a man kicked out at a dog, and tried to snatch a woman's phone when she took pictures of him.
“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
Police said they are appealing for information to identify the man, who they believe has information that could assist the investigation.
Officers added:
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email peter.henderson@northyorkshire.police.uk.
“You can also call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Pc1668 Henderson.
“If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
