The latest addition to Ripon's retail scene, Peacocks, opened its doors to the city this morning.
Store manager Shirelle Wallace-Hoyle (pictured) will be a familiar face to shoppers, as she previously managed the M&Co store that formerly occupied the site, before the company entered administration in December 2022.
She told the Stray Ferret, “it’s great to be back and I look forward to welcoming customers old and new".
Ms Wallace-Hoyle added:

The value retailer that sells clothing and accessories for women, children and men, has employed 75 percent of the former M&Co Ripon staff at the shop, which has a sales floor of 5,600 sq ft.
