Harrogate man banned from Valley Gardens following indecent exposure

A Harrogate man has been banned from entering Valley Gardens after being found guilty of two counts of indecent exposure.

Thomas Bardon, 33, of Finden Gardens in Hampsthwaite, denied exposing his genitals in Harrogate on May 24 and August 1 last year.

But he was found guilty on April 18 and sentenced at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 16.

Bardon was given a community order and a five-year sexual prevention order that states he must not enter Valley Gardens or attempt to contact the victims.

He was also required to undertake rehabilitation and 50 hours of unpaid work, as well as pay £310 costs, a £144 surcharge and £100 compensation.
