Major reconfiguration and refurbishment works at Halls of Ripon, are now complete and it's back to business as usual following a 10-day shut down for the final elements of its refit.
It means the city's only department store has a new look and new entrants, as the reconfiguration created space for more independent traders to set up their stalls in the Fishergate premises.
Among the latest arrivals is Signature Baby Boutique — the first retail venture of Claire Mckeown, who has worked for 12 years as an emergency medical technician with Yorkshire Ambulance Service based in Ripon.

Reconfiguration, refurbishment and refit works are now complete at Halls of Ripon
Ms Mckeown, who sells pre-loved, new and designer clothing for children up to the age of five, is still working at least one shift a week for the ambulance service. She told the Stray Ferret:
Owned by Ripon-based investment and development company Sterne Properties Limited, the former Wrens store reopened under its new Halls of Ripon branding in July 2021.
