No deaths from patients who tested positive for covid have been recorded at Harrogate District Hospital for over a week.
According to NHS England figures, the last death was reported on March 16 – eight days ago.
The death toll at the hospital remains at 177.
Yesterday, health bosses revealed that the number of patients being treated at the hospital had fallen to six.

It comes as seven more covid cases have been reported in the Harrogate district, according to latest Public Health England data.
It takes the total number of cases since last March to 7,549.

Both deaths were reported yesterday. It brings the total number of covid deaths in the district hospital since the pandemic began to 127.
Meanwhile, the daily number of people testing positive for covid in the Harrogate district has risen by 41. So far 6,652 people in the region have tested positive for the virus.

Earlier this week Harrogate Hospital said it was dealing with a record number of covid patients. It has suspended some non-emergency surgeries in an effort to free up bed space and staff to deal with patients.
Latest data from Public Health England shows the Harrogate district has a 7-day case rate (dated up to 28th January) of 173.5 per 100,000.

According to NHS England figures, the deaths were reported on January 15 and 16. It takes the number of people who have died of the virus at the hospital since March 2019 up to 121.
Meanwhile, a further 64 people tested positive for covid in the Harrogate district.

The 7 day average of cases per 100,000 in the district now stands at 307 (latest data January 14).
The district has reported a total of 5,939 covid cases since the start of the pandemic last year.
Seventy new positive covid cases in Harrogate districtThe latest figures from Public Health England show there have been 70 new positive covid cases in the past 24 hours.
It brings the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic in the district to 2, 835. In Yorkshire and North East NHS figures published today showed 82 further deaths of people who had tested positive for coronavirus — none were in the Harrogate district.
On Thursday, the district reported its record daily case increase with 96 positive tests confirmed.

Health bosses said this week that 24 patients were being treated for coronavirus at Harrogate district hospital and that it is coping with the increased number of patients.
Meanwhile, care home visits will continue in North Yorkshire. The county council restricted visits during October but advised homes they could relax the rules in November to allow one designated visitor for each resident.
Officials have said the measure will continue through lockdown, but homes which report an outbreak will have to restrict visits.
No coronavirus deaths reported at Harrogate District HospitalToday marks the 15th consecutive day without a reported death of coronavirus at Harrogate District Hospital. It’s also the 72nd anniversary of the NHS and the nation will clap at 5pm to mark the occasion.
A further 18 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,889.
Patients were aged between 54 and 94 years old. All patients had known underlying health conditions.

So far, the hospital has reported 80 coronavirus deaths. The last coronavirus death happened on June 18.
