Police are appealing for help tracing the family of a Harrogate man who was found dead at home last week.
Michael ingleton, 64, died at Harewood Road.
North Yorkshire Police said today it it had been asked by the coroner’s office to help locate his next of kin.
It said in a statement:
“His death is not thought to be suspicious.
“If you knew Mr Ingleton and have any information that would help the coroner to locate any members of Mr Ingleton’s family please email
coroner@northyorkshire.police.uk.”

Appeal to find dead Harrogate man’s next of kin
The North Yorkshire coroner’s office is appealing for help to locate the next of kin of 53-year-old Craig Fryer from Harrogate.
Mr Fryer died at his home in Woodfield Road, Bilton on March 15 and officers have been unable to trace his next of kin.
It is believed he has two daughters, one in Australia and one in the south of England. However, it is unknown exactly where.
North Yorkshire Police said in a statement today:
“If you are Craig’s daughter or have information that could help find them, please contact our coroner’s office via email to coroner@northyorkshire.police.uk.”
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Fryer’s death.

Police appeal for information about dead Knaresborough man
The coroner’s office is appealing for information to find the family of a Knaresborough man who died at home this month.
Police officers have been unable to trace the family or next of kin of Brian George Abbott, 73, who died on October 15.
Mr Abbott, who lived in Finkle Street, was discovered after a concerned neighbour raised the alarm when post began to build up at his home.
His death is not believed to be suspicious.
North Yorkshire Police has appealed to anyone who knew Mr Abbott or has any information that could help find his family to contact the coroner’s office.
